Privacy Policy

FreeTempEmail is a disposable email service. We built it so you can sign up for things, receive a one-time message, and walk away without handing over your real inbox. This page explains, in plain language, what we do and do not collect, and how the third parties we rely on (advertising and analytics) handle data.

1. What we collect

We deliberately collect as little as possible. To run the service we temporarily store:

Disposable email addresses you generate and the messages sent to them. These are automatically and permanently deleted approximately 10 minutes after creation (or immediately when you press "Burn").
A session identifier stored in a strictly necessary cookie so your generated address stays tied to your browser tab. It expires within 24 hours.
Basic abuse-prevention signals (such as request rate per IP) used only to block spam and keep the service available.

We do not ask for your name, your real email, a phone number, or a password. We do not build advertising profiles ourselves and we do not sell personal data.

2. Advertising

FreeTempEmail is free to use and is supported by advertising. We work with third-party advertising vendors that may set cookies or use similar technologies to serve and measure ads. We currently use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

3. Your consent choices

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we present a consent dialog (an IAB Transparency & Consent Framework compliant Consent Management Platform). The Google advertising script may load when the page loads, but Google applies your consent signals from this dialog before serving personalized ads or setting non-essential advertising cookies; until you consent, only limited, non-personalized ads may be shown where required. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the privacy options control shown by the consent tool, or by clearing this site's cookies in your browser.

4. Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (such as page views and bounce rate). It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not collect personal data. It only tells us how the site performs in aggregate so we can tell whether ads are harming the experience.

5. Data retention

Disposable addresses and their messages live for roughly 10 minutes and are then deleted permanently. Session cookies expire within 24 hours. We do not keep email content beyond its short lifespan.

6. Children

FreeTempEmail is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
